Gov. Obaseki’s Delegation to APC National Executive Council Meeting Was Dignified and Successful, says Osunde

The Chairman of Oredo Local Government Council of Edo State, Hon. Evbareke Jenkins Osunde said the Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki has made Edo people proud by his focused democratic and constitutional approach to issues. 

 Hon. Osunde said this during the recently concluded National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) held in Abuja on Friday. He said Gov. Obaseki displayed inspiring leadership qualities and disciplined determination in the state participation at the NEC meeting.

 According to the Chairman, "His Excellency exhibited uncommon qualities of strategic peoples’ organization in the way that the Governor facilitated and coordinated the effective participation of the Edo delegation that attended the Abuja national meeting’’. 

 Hon. Osunde noted that the Governor has incontestably solidified the point, that effectiveness in political mobilization and organization should not be equated with exhibition of arrogant acrobatics and outrageous verbosity.

 Hon. Osunde particularly congratulated the Governor for his leadership in ensuring that the, unconstitutional plot by purveyors of crisis in Edo APC to sabotage the participation of the state’s chairman, Anselm Ojezua, at NEC was promptly and decisively smashed.  
"The diabolical scheme that the miserable factional characters arranged in dark political coven was forthrightly quashed  by the Governor in the constitutional transparency and daylight   of the temple of justice’’, he posited.
With the destruction of the plot, ‘’all of our principal officers including Chairman Anselm Ojezua and  Speaker Frank Okiye legitimately and fully attended  the  various sessions of the NEC’’,  the Oredo Chairman noted . 

 Furthermore, Hon. Osunde noted: "there was a genuine display of friendship and respectful gestures  towards His Excellency, Governor Obaseki  by prominent members of the NEC’’,  just as it was reported that some notable  APC leaders took the opportunity of the Abuja meeting to seek deeper understanding of the situation in Edo State APC from the Governor.

 Hon. Evbareke Jenkins Osunde concluded that the graceful path of the Governor’s 2020 re-election has been further paved and brightened by the remarkable success of Edo State delegation to the Abuja APC  NEC meeting.
