By Isaac Eranga, Benin The Chairman of Edo State Football Referees Council, Mr. Johnbull Okundolor said the State Executive is ready to produce more numbers of FIFA badged referees in the State. He said before now, Edo State used to have up to five FIFA badged referees but now have just one. Mr. Okundolor said this during a thanksgiving service held at the Assemblies of God Church, Ugbowo, Benin City, to thank God for his successful election as Chairman of the Edo State Referee Council on December 20th, 2018. Speaking on the topic, "Preparation for Success", the officiating minister, Pst. Dr. Cliff Ediae Ikponmwonsa said in every goal attained, there is a process of preparation. As an analogy, he said behind every goal scored in a football match, there are years of preparation. He asserted that it is in the process of preparation that one becomes great.
