Edo State to produce more FIFA badged referees, says referee boss

By Isaac Eranga, Benin The Chairman of Edo State Football Referees Council, Mr. Johnbull Okundolor said the State Executive is ready to produce more numbers of FIFA badged referees in the State. He said before now, Edo State used to have up to five FIFA badged referees but now have just one. Mr. Okundolor said this during a thanksgiving service held at the Assemblies of God Church, Ugbowo, Benin City, to thank God for his successful election as Chairman of the Edo State Referee Council on December 20th, 2018. He also said plan was on to increase the membership of the council. The Edo referee boss said he will use his experience to take the State referees to higher height. 2019 general elections: NGO hold legislative town hall meeting

Bishop Institute commence in Benin

Isaac Eranga, Benin The Institute for Global Opportunities (IGO), Chiang Mai Thailand, has approved the establishment of a Bishop Institute in Benin. The institute which is to be run by IGO's Africa study center- Africa Theologian Bible Institute for Global Opportunities (ATBIFGO), shall be known as Africa Bishop Institute (ABI). The Bishop institute which is located at 16, Oviasogie Street, opposite Ojo Street, off Uwasota Road, Ugbowo, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, is currently admitting students for the maiden academic programme. Edo CNPP endorses activities of Ocean Marine Solutions Limited

By Isaac Eranga, Benin The Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP), Edo State chapter, has commended the leadership of Ocean Marine Solutions Limited (OMS) over their people's oriented projects and empowerment programmes in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. The CNPP made this commendation while making a comprehensive review of the  company's activities for the past years. Business Registration At CAC Is N5000 Till March 31

----sets up disciplinary committee By Isaac Eranga Benin: As part of preparation for the upcoming football season in Nigeria, members of Edo State (Football) Referees Council led by the State Chairman Mr. Johnbull Okundolor, yesterday held a fasting and  prayer and program at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium. Speaking on the topic, "Preparation for Success", the officiating minister, Pst. Dr. Cliff Ediae Ikponmwonsa said in every goal attained, there is a process of preparation. As an analogy, he said behind every goal scored in a football match, there are years of preparation. He asserted that it is in the process of preparation that one becomes great. Quoting the book of Proverbs 10:9, Pst Ediae said there was need to work perfectly.
