Edo Bizman Bring Succor To NUJ By Elvis Omoregie Benin City:  Benin City-based business man Albert Obazee, has given succor to Edo State council, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) when he  donated 1000 litres of diesel and an internet  Router .                                 Mr. Albert Obaze presenting the internet router to NUJ Chairman,                                 Roland Osakwe, JP at the NUJ, Press Center Obaze who is the CEO of Eric Duke Properties Ltd, said the gesture was to support journalists in the State and minimize the stress in discharging their constitutional role to the society. They made this assertion when Executives and Elders of the Council paid a condolence visit to the family of the late football icon. 14-year-old JSS 111 pupil in Enugu State has confessed to the police that she was never kidnapped but willingly left home to see her boyfriend contrary to the alarm raised by the parents that she had been kidnapped. The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Ebere Amaraizu, said this in a statement on Saturday in Enugu. He described as false the kidnap alarm raised by Mr Frank Anioma, over his daughter, Miss Kosisochukwu Anioma. He said that Anioma took to the social media to announce his daughter’s kidnap as well as reported to the police. Amaraizu said that the fake kidnap alarm was raised on Aug. 22 and the police operatives of the Anti-Kidnap Unit immediately swung into action. NWA, FISSAN protest marginalization of firm domicile  in Edo community By Elvis Omoregie Orhionmwon: Nigerian Welders Association an affiliate of United Labour Congress ( NWA) Zone H Benin, and the Association of Filters Senior Staffs of Nigeria (FISSAN), yesterday, protested the marginalization meted on them by the Oilserv Company Ltd domiciled in Oben in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State. The protest which lasted for several hours, led to the barricading of the main entrance leading to the company with heavy trucks and other items while chanting war songs  and bearing placards with different inscriptions. The "three were found guilty of [murder and possessing human tissue] and have been sentenced to death," judiciary spokeswoman Agness Patemba told the AFP news agency on Wednesday. The court found Douglas Mwale, Fontino Folosani and Sophie Jere guilty of murdering Priscott Pepuzani in 2015 using a metal bar and a hoe handle.
