2 Killed and 12 Injured in Syria Church Rocket Strike

Video footage shows the rocket attack on the Greek Orthodox Hagia Sophia Church in Al-Suqaylabiyah .  07/25/2022 Syria (International Christian Concern) —At the crowded inauguration ceremony of a church in Syria yesterday, a rocket attack killed two people and injured 12.  Video footage  of the rocket attack shows a large explosion directly in front of the Greek Orthodox Hagia Sophia Church in Al-Suqaylabiyah, near the city of Hama. In addition to the civilian victims of the bombing, the church sustained damage as a result of the attack. Syrian state media attributed the bombing to unspecified “terrorist organizations.”  Jeff King, President of ICC, said,  “We are saddened by the news of Sunday’s attack against Christians in Syria. Peter Obi draws out plan to tackle Nigeria's security problem when elected President of Nigeria

  The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has said his solution to the security crisis in the country would be ‘’definite and immediate’’ if elected in the 2023 elections. According to him, the states would be in charge of their security under his administration. Speaking while featuring on the Channels TV programme, ‘Politics Today,’ on Monday, the LP flagbearer called on the Federal Government to do more in terms of security. Obi’s comments came a few hours after the terrorists who attacked the Kaduna-Abuja train on March 28, 2022, released three abductees out of the 43 persons in captivity. By Isaac Eranga The Immaculate Conception College Old Boys Association, ICCOBA, Class of 1996 recently has successfully earned the Edo State Government certification to operate a multipurpose cooperative society. Speaking during the July edition of the set's monthly meeting which was hosted by Mr Egharevbe Erhabor, Miss Otote Adesuwa who is a Cooperative Registrar with the Ministry of Wealth Creation informed the members in attendance that the association have a lot to benefit from the cooperative society. In his speech, another Cooperative Registrar,  Mr. Michael Eboigbe said the Edo State Government is willing to alleviate poverty by all means and so, the cooperative societies are avenues to engage in such desire.
