Royal proclamation on the establishment of the Benin customary alternative dispute resolution committee

The general public is hereby informed that His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, Oba of Benin, will by the grace of God and our ancestors make a royal proclamation on the establishment of the Benin Customary Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee (BCADRC) that will look into complaints brought to the Palace for adjudication.

The Omo N’Oba has set up the Benin Customary Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee to replace the previous Panel system whose members became frequently compromised. The BCADRC will be more stable with initial tenure of 18 months consisting of men of proven integrity who’s Curriculum Vitae would be displayed on the website.
