The Esama of Benin Kingdom - Chief Sir Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion has lauded the developmental stride of the Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council - Comrade Festus Alenkhe, JP. He said the coming of Festus Alenkhe has brought credibility to the journalism profession in Edo State.

The Esama of Benin said this while receiving members of Edo NUJ who was in his house to felicitate with him on occasion of his 88th birthday.

"You are trying to have a footmark in Edo NUJ so that your name can remain indelible. Carry on", said the Esama.

Speaking earlier, the Chairman of Edo NUJ - Comrade Festus Alenkhe thanked the Esama for welcoming Edo Journalists to his house. He highlighted his achievements since assumption of office. 

"We believe in your style both local and global. We are going to join you from this moment till the last day of your birthday because you remain Edo journalists Grand Patron for life. Your activities are well known all over the world", he said.
