This revelation was made by the Chairman of the caretaker committee, Dr Isaac Eranga in Benin City. He said all was set for a credible election that will usher in new leadership that will pilot the affairs of the chapel for the next three years. He said the election will take place on Wednesday 25 August, 2022, at the NUJ old conference hall.

Dr. Eranga who is an international awards wining journalist and the President of Pan-African Online Journalists Association (POJA), thanked the Edo NUJ Executives led by Comrade Festus Alenkhe for giving the caretaker committee enough time to put the chapel in order and to organize a credible election.

"I want to use this medium to urge all members of the Federated chapel to maintain high level of decorum, as Federated chapel is one unified entity. We shall give no room for mischief makers in order for them not to destroy the peace that has prevailed in the chapel for the past few months.

"If you are not satisfied with the electoral process, you are free to express your grievances. But remember, if you want to seek equity, you must come with clean hands", said the certified online journalist.
