Edo CNPP endorses activities of Ocean Marine Solutions Limited

The Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP), Edo State chapter, has commended the leadership of Ocean Marine Solutions Limited (OMS) over their people's oriented projects and empowerment programmes in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.

The CNPP made this commendation while making a comprehensive review of the  company's activities for the past years.

According to the Edo CNPP Chairman, Prince Roy Oribhabor,
"it has become necessary and pertinent to make our findings about the activities of the Ocean Marine Solutions Limited available to the general public, NNPC and Nigerian Government.

"Our probes into the activities and conducts of this organization is as a result of smear campaign that has been motivated by some persons who are out to rubbish the performance of the company.

"Three months ago, the Edo CNPP set up a committee to critically review, evaluate and probe deeply into the activities of Ocean Marine Solutions. We discovered that the company is an indigenous leading asset protection organization dedicated to protecting the country's natural resources from graft and illegal activities under the leadership of Capt. (Dr) Idahosa Okunbo.

"We also discovered that the company has employed great numbers of hardworking Nigerians and over 3000 job opportunities in the Niger Delta region created. We therefore concluded that the company is well positioned for better service delivery.

"We call on the general public to disregard any vested interest working very hard to misinform Nigerians and defame Ocean Marine Solutions. The company has demonstrated capacity, commitment and competence at the highest level of performance and services delivery".

The Edo CNPP boss commended the leadership of the Executive Director, Capt. (Dr) Idahosa Okunbo and advised him to remain focused, undaunted, and more determined to withstand the shenanigans and elementary gimmicks out to discredit him and the organization.

"We are absolutely proud of Idahosa Okunbo. The company is hereby endorsed for more business activities in the Niger Delta region.

"As critical stakeholders in Nigeria project, we are duty bound to evaluate and react on issues of public importance, hence, we call on  NNPC and Nigerian Government to be consistent in business with Ocean Marine Solutions.

"Finally, Ocean Marine Solutions has performed well in social cooperate responsibility to the host communities which makes the organization to stand tall amongst its competitors. Interactions with the host communities clearly shows that OMS is human friendly in their dealings and activities. Edo CNPP will not entertain any attempt to rubbish our distinguished Son who had laboured very hard to attain this level", said Prince Oribhabor
