E. J Agbonayinma, Matthew Iduoriyekemwen laud Obaseki on infrastructural development in Edo

Member representing Egor/Ikpoba-Okha federal constituency, Hon. Johnson Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma and the former Peoples Democratic Party's governorship aspirant, Hon. Matthew Iduoriyekemwen yesterday lauded the Edo State governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki on the infrastuctural  development of the state within one year.

The duo gave the commendation in Benin City after decamping to the ruling All Progressives Congress in the state.

Agbonayinma, while stating the reason he has to dump his former party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress said he was attracted by what the government of the state has done  by ensuring that development cuts  across the three senatorial districts noting that it would be a sin on his part not to have joined him to develop the state.

"The interest of Edo State is what is paramount. That is what the governor was trying to tell Edo State people and Nigeria in general and that we must put this nation first and Edo State for me today is working and any reasonable human being, anyone that believes in the developmental stride, anyone that believes that when one is working, there is no need to try to hide, tell the story the way it is.

"In my own constituency, especially my local government, he has been able to attract industrial estate to my local government in Ikpoba Okha that is going to give employment to thousands of youth.

"Again, he has been able to build modular refinery in Ikpoba Okha. It will be a sin to God and to mankind to work against him but to support him.

"All I want to do, is to bring my added value, queue behind him and support him so that Edo State can be among the best states in this country", he said.

For Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, it was sincerity that the state governor has brought into governance.

"Why did I come to join the APC? You all know that I resigned from the PDP since September 2017. When I resigned, I decided to watch and see.

"Governor Obaseki, we are all calling him wake and see.Everyone  of you know that  I wanted to be governor and if you have somebody who is already a governor and is doing those things you would have done and he is even doing better than you and we all believe that Edo State should be better, we believe that Edo State should come first, we believe every child should have a better education, our roads should be motorable, our market women should have an environment where  they are able to trade and at the end of the day, make profit and support their families, we all have to support him.
