NUJ lauds Gov. Obaseki on appointment of John Mayaki as CPS

The Edo State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), has commended Governor Obaseki for appointing one of its members John Mayaki as the Chief Press Secretary to the governor.

Speaking yesterday in Benin City during a courtesy visit to the governor, the state Chairman of NUJ, Roland Osakwe said Mayaki’s appointment was most appreciated. “We are grateful to the governor for appointing one of our own as your Chief Press Secretary. We assure you that Mr. Mayaki will leave up to the challenges of the office,” Osakwe said.

John Mayaki, a quintessential and one of the finest flashiest journalist was called into the government of Godwin OBASEKI to help optimize the publicity and publicization of the activities of the governor. Since his assumption of office as the CPS, John Mayaki has left no stone unturned in the management of information and the dissemination of same.
