EDO: APC Stakeholders Passed Vote Of No Confidence On Akoko Edo Party Chairman

Stakeholders of All Progressive Party (APC) Akoko-Edo Local Government Area has passed a vote of no confidence on its chairman Mr. Jeffery Obasanmi, for his misconduct, abuse of office, misdeeds, official graft.
In a letter address to him and signed by members of the party and copied all the stakeholders of the party from the local government area.

The letter stated that in order to save The party from imminent collapse and disrepute and dragging The name of The party to mud.

The letter however directed him to step aside and handover to his vice chairman, Arc. Daniel Obaro to assume the leadership responsibilities for a comprehensive overhaul that will bring about genuine and qualitative leadership, having lost the people’s confidence.

Some of his offense includes: Unlawful and unilateral nomination of candidate and subsequent constitution of APC LG caucus committee to screen candidates for commissionership of APC and people party constitution.
Illegal constitution of an Akoko Edo North constituency, kangaroo committee to screen commissionership aspirants in absential and recommended those he deemed qualified, having collected cash.
