Man who murdered prostitute arrested in Abuja

Joseph Odoh,has been arrested by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command for alledly killing a commercial sex worker at Utako village, a suburb of Abuja.

It was reported that the suspect was arrested at Mabushi village during investigation. He was traced by the police and made it easy for his capture through the mobile phone SIM card in the pocket of his trousers which he left at the scene of the crime

The police said:

“After killing the woman, he fled the scene of the incident, leaving his trousers with a mobile SIM card in its pocket. He was traced through that SIM card and was arrested last week Wednesday by the police at Mabushi."

The suspect killed the prostitute with a knife in her room over an arguement for the payment after servicing her. It was gathered that the suapect was a guard with a security firm in Utako.

CSP Sani Aliyu Omolori ,the Utako Divisional Police Officer (DPO),said over the arrest that the suspect had been transferred to FCT CID for further investigation.
