Nigerian Students, Civil Soceity Group to stage protest to Foreign Embassies By Ken Akposi

A coalition of civil society organisations under the aegis of Heritage
Centre and the National Association of Nigeria Students said they were
ready to stage a protest to all foreign embaddies to sensitise them
that Nigeria's democracy was under threat.

They said nothing will stop them if the beastly witch-hunting of the
Senate President - Bukola Saraki by some APC Leaders did not come to
an end.

The Pressure groups were reacting to the order of Senator Saraki's
arrest by the Code of Conduct Tribunal over alleged falsification in
assets declaration.

H C Director General - Dr. Katch Ononuju and NANS President, Tijani
Usman who issued the threat during a press briefing in Abuja saturday
said "it was a witch-hunt against the Senate President by what we
described as 'cabals', who should be put under-checks by the Federal
Government.

Ononuju accused President Buhari for not taking his appointment lists
to the Senate for screening because Bukola is the senate president. He
said since Buhari came into power, the economic system has going down.

He alleged that the DSS has been asked to trail senators secretly.
