Lucky Imasuen Decamped from PDP to APC: Edos react By Our Correspondents.

A cross section of Edo indegenes has reacted to the recent decamping
of Lucky Imasuen from PDP to APC, describing it as shamefull and a act
of mischieve.

Speaking with the Peoples Periscope, a PDP faithful in the State, Mr.
Timothy Idehen, said the decamping of Mr. Lucky Imasuen will not
affect the governorship election of 2016, saying PDP will be the party
to beat.

Mrs. Itohan Igho said it was a shamefull act on the part of Lucky
Imasuen who was in charge of the Sure-P programe of ex-President
Goodluck Jonathan. She said despite all the derogatory statement Lucky
Imasuen made concerning the APC and the Comrade governor, he still had
the mind to join them. According to Mrs. Igho, "it's like a dog
returning to his vomit".

An APC faithful in the state who pleaded anonymity said Lucky Imasuen
joining the APC is of no effect. He said APC already knew that Lucky
Imasuen had no followers, saying he will only come as a bench warmer.
"We don't want him because he has nothing to contribute to our great
party. He has plundered PDP, he want to come to plunder APC. He is not
a progressive. He should go and join to build the PDP", he said.
An APC Chieftain in Edo State who prefered not to be mentioned said
the APC knew the antics of Mr. Lucky Imasuen and so they will be
carefull with the way they deal with him. "We will put him at bay so
that he will not infest us the way he did to the PDP".

Another PDP faithful in the State, Aimufua Okoro said Mr. Lucky
Imasuen has only exercised his freedom of association, and so should
be left to go. "His leaving PDP will have no effect on the party", he
said.

Lucky Imasuen who was one time Deputy Governor under Professor
Osaremen Osunbor today decamped from the PDP to APC.
