Breaking: Obaseki’s family rejects him,  endorses Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu For Edo State Governor

This is a piece of very devastating news for the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki as prominent members of his family have converged together to endorse the aspiration of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

The siblings to the embattled Governor made their decision known earlier today at the residence of the APC Gubernatorial candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

The family was led by Prince Osaro Obaseki and Victor Obaseki .

They admitted Godwin Obaseki was a member of their family but that the collective interest of the State should override the personal interest of the family.

“Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, the Executive Governor, is our cousin.
Generally, the Obasekis have their own way of doing things,we are a different branch of faith, we are supporting our brother, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu with an unalloyed support fully for him."

This endorsement of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu by the Obaseki’s would surely boost the campaign team of the APC candidate and serve as a big blow to the PDP and Godwin Obaseki.
