General Muhammudu Buhari (Rtd) and frontline aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has emerged the winner of the party’s presidential primary that held in Lagos.
Buhari emerged winner with 3,430 votes to beat his closest rival and governor of Kano State Engr. Rabiu Kwankwaso who polled over 974 votes to clinch 2nd position.
The flop of the day was former vice President Atiku Abubakar, who was rumoured to have spent millions of dollars, but could only garner more than 954 votes of total 7,214 delegates accredited in the primary election.
Rochas Okorocha emerged fourth with at least 624 votes to be credited to him.
Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah could only marshal 10 votes.
Gen. Buhari will now face president Goodluck Jonathan who has already emerged winner of the Peoples Democratic Party presidential primaries in the February 2015 general elections.

Atiku Congratulates Buhari
In a show of rare comradeship, former vice president Atiku Abubakar has congratulated the winner of the APC Primary Elections Gen. Muhammudu Buhari.
This is coming as Gen. Muhammudu Buhari is yet to be annouced winner of the Primary election.

As at the time of publishing this story, counting of votes are still on. Atiku whose vote has been counted, polled 954 votes as against Buhari whose vote is being counted.
Gen. Buhari had polled 2,800 as at the time of publishing this news.
