Graduands of various level of studies have been presented degrees by the Africa Theological Institute (ATI). The presentation was made during the institute's 2022 convocation ceremony held recently in Benin City.

While speaking on the importance of Bible School/Seminary, the Rector of ATI - Bishop Dr. Sunday Aigbefoh said any Pastor without a Bible School certification is like a driver without a driving license. He said in anything one is doing, he/she needs to be certified.

"Pastors are among the three leading powers in the world (Doctors, Lawyers, Pastors), hence the need for Pastors to equip themselves. This is why ATI was established.

"Apart from being the cheapest Bible College in Benin City, ATI went an extra mile to be  accredited to Global Partnership for Theological Accreditation and Mission (GPTAM), South Korea. The objective of the accreditation is to produce qualified graduands that are of high biblical and academic standards.

"17 Bible Colleges have been accredited by GPTAM from India, Nepal and Africa, and we are number two on the list. We have different areas of study such as: Diploma in Evangelism, Diploma in Theology, Diploma in Deliverance and Prophetic Studies, Bachelor in Evangelism, Bachelor in Theology, Master in Theology. PhD in Theology is just added by GPTAM.

"Admission form for the next academic session which resumes third week of January, 2023, is out. You can contact the school administrator at 16, Oviasogie Street, opposite Ojo Junction, off Uwasota Road, Ugbowo, Benin City. You can also call or WhatsApp +2348035630262."

Speaking earlier, the Principal of the School, Bishop Dr. Daniel Ogie said education started in the Church in 1515, and that the first book to be printed is the Bible. "So everything you see in the Church is not child's play.

"The graduands have learn new things and they are expected to demonstrate them. I urge all of you observing the graduation to inspect how the graduands put these new skills to practice", said he.

The Principal also reiterated that research writing is an integral part of the institute. Every students are expected to carry out research. This is because anybody that is able to carryout research is capable of solving problems in the society.
