GPN calls for the sack of Babatunde Fashola.

According to a press release presented at the emergency meeting of the Green Party of Nigeria (GPN), Edo State chapter, held in Benin city, and which was signed by the State Chairman- Comrade Roy Oribhabor, to review the state of the nation vis-a- vis the performance of the present administration under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari, the Edo GPN has passed a vote of no confidence on Nigeria Works Minister- Babatunde Fashola and unanimously called for his remover.

According to the release, this was as a result of the deplorable state of Nigeria roads especially the Benin-Ekpoma-Auchi - Abuja express road.

According to the GPN, "the road is  very bad and unmotorable, the plight of Nigerians plying the road is demoralizing hence, it has become germane to call for the immediate sack of Minister for works, Mr Babatunde Fashola for gross incompetency and abysmal performance in office".

"The records are there to show that his performance in office is below standard therefore, terminating his appointment becomes the panacea to motorists predicaments.

"The failure and inability for Minister for works to fix Nigeria roads has crippled the economy. The immediate repairs of our roads will help us in the recession and reawaken the hope of the commoners in Nigeria".
